Founding dates taken from the clubs and yards themselves, covering 95 years of the same shoreline. Several older yards are not dated here because they give a decade rather than a year: Safe Harbor Stratford sits on a site with shipyards since the 1700s, Brown's Boat Yard has been in Guilford since the 1940s, and Dutch Wharf has worked the Branford River for more than sixty years.
