We are not affiliated with City Point Yacht Club. We are an independent mobile detailer that services boats kept there.
City Point Yacht Club was established in 1895 and has maintained a commitment to boaters, fishermen, and sailors ever since. Its roots run alongside the development of City Point itself, the planned neighborhood laid out in 1868 on what was then the Oyster Point peninsula.
Today the club provides 182 berths for members plus fuel and pump-out services, sitting on the western side of New Haven Harbor with quick access out to the Sound.
Out on the harbor proper, the two things working against your finish are salt and airborne fallout from a working commercial port. Neither is dramatic day to day, which is exactly why they get away from people. A boat here looks fine in June and chalky by August.
We coordinate through members and the club for dock access rather than showing up cold. If several members on the same dock want work done, a coordinated visit is easier on the club and cheaper on scheduling for everyone.
The same packages we run across the shoreline. Restoration and seasonal work is quoted after a look at the boat.
