We are not affiliated with South Benson Marina. We are an independent mobile detailer that services boats kept there.
South Benson is the Town of Fairfield's main marina, on Turney Road beside Jennings Beach and the Ash Creek open space. It accommodates roughly 600 boats ranging from about 14 to 36 feet, with a launch ramp, fishing pier, bait shack, restrooms, and picnic areas.
Slips are issued to permanent Fairfield residents, so this is a community of local owners rather than a transient stop. The town marinas open in mid-April and boats have to be out or relocated before that.
The 36-foot ceiling means these are almost all open or partially open boats: center consoles, bowriders, small cruisers. Nothing shades the gelcoat, seating, or non-skid, so sun damage arrives faster here than on boats with more covered surface.
The seasonal calendar drives our scheduling. A polish and sealant just before the April opening, then a proper wash and wax before haul-out, covers most South Benson boats well. We book Fairfield heavily in late March and early April, so it is worth calling ahead of the rush.
The same packages we run across the shoreline. Restoration and seasonal work is quoted after a look at the boat.
