We are not affiliated with Branford Yacht Club. We are an independent mobile detailer that services boats kept there.
Branford Yacht Club was founded in 1909 near the mouth of the Branford River. It runs 257 moorings in total: 214 floating slips at the Main Marina, 20 at Bob Criscuolo Landing, and 23 river stakes fitted with floating pile rings. The club can haul and launch boats up to 60 feet with a 50-ton Travel Lift, and roughly 135 boats are stored at the Landing over the off season.
Membership is open to Connecticut residents at least twenty-one years old.
The club allows members to bring in outside service personnel provided the contractor supplies a current certificate of insurance. We carry full insurance and are used to providing certificates, so this is routine for us. Ask and we will get paperwork to the club ahead of the visit.
Branford Yacht Club takes environmental compliance seriously, with EPA guidelines governing runoff into the Branford River and boats pressure washed over a containment pit. We work to those standards. Our process is designed to keep wash water and residue controlled rather than running off a dock, which matters as much to us as it does to the club.
