We are not affiliated with Dutch Wharf Boat Yard & Marina. We are an independent mobile detailer that services boats kept there.
Dutch Wharf has been servicing boats on the Branford River for more than 60 years and maintains 65 slips, taking vessels up to 55 feet with a maximum beam of 17 feet. It also offers outdoor winter storage for boats within that beam limit.
The yard has a real reputation for craft. Its crew includes graduates of boat-building schools like The Landing School in Maine, and the shop covers carpentry and joinery, fiberglass, engine work, painting, electronics, rigging, and wooden boat restoration.
Dutch Wharf handles gelcoat maintenance and painting in house, so be clear with us about what you want from whom. We are glad to work alongside a yard rather than around it, and there is no sense duplicating something they are already doing on your boat.
It sits further up the river than the marinas near the mouth, which means more silt and a heavier waterline. Storage customers get slip priority here, so a lot of these boats are year-round residents, and combining a pre-storage detail with the haul-out is well-timed work.
The same packages we run across the shoreline. Restoration and seasonal work is quoted after a look at the boat.
