Cedar Marina sits on the left bank of Cedar Creek as you come into historic Black Rock Harbor. The Gulia family has owned and run it since 1956, now into a fourth generation, and it holds 140 slips with up to eight kept for transients.
It is a proper working marina with factory-trained technicians for MerCruiser, Volvo, and Mercury outboards, plus pump-out, hull and engine repair, and electrical service.
Cedar Creek is exceptionally well protected from just about every direction, which is why boats ride out weather here comfortably. The trade-off is airflow. Enclosed, sheltered water means less wind and rain reaching the boat, so the industrial fallout that settles out of a commercial harbor's air just sits there rather than getting rinsed off naturally.
That fallout is gritty and mildly abrasive. The single most common damage we correct on Bridgeport boats is fine scratching in the gelcoat from someone wiping dry dust off a deck. If your boat lives here, a recurring wash plan genuinely protects the finish rather than just keeping it looking tidy.
