Clinton Yacht Haven is a private full-service marina on Clinton Harbor, running roughly 150 to 200 slips with a boatyard, yacht sales, and a marine store. It offers a quieter docking experience than the larger marinas either side of it, with easy access out to Long Island Sound.
It sits within the same sheltered harbour system as Cedar Island, behind the Hammonasset preserve.
The same harbour conditions apply here as across Clinton: productive preserve water, quick summer growth at the waterline, and a browner stain than open salt water produces because of the silt coming down the Hammonasset.
Being a smaller and quieter facility, this is a place where a recurring maintenance rhythm works particularly well. Boats tend to stay in the same slip year after year, which means we can build a schedule around a specific boat rather than starting fresh every season.
