Clinton's harbour is shallow and biologically rich, which is excellent for the ecosystem and hard on a waterline. Summer growth is quick here and the stain carries silt from the river, so it runs browner and sets harder than what we see on boats kept in open salt water.
For a boat kept in Clinton, the honest recommendation is either a coating or a recurring wash cadence. An annual detail alone tends to mean paying for correction every year rather than protection.
