Dockage on New London Harbor at the mouth of the Thames.
We are not affiliated with Burr's Marina. We are an independent mobile detailer that services boats kept there.
Burr's Marina sits on New London Harbor where the Thames River opens toward Long Island Sound, in a harbour that has been a working port since the whaling era.
Boats kept here have quick access out to the Sound, Fishers Island, and the eastern cruising grounds toward Block Island and Newport.
New London boats sit in a genuine working harbour, and the finish takes it from two directions: airborne fallout from port traffic settling on the horizontal surfaces, and salt from a harbour mouth open to the Sound.
Neither problem is dramatic day to day, which is exactly why they get away from owners. A boat here looks fine in June and noticeably tired by August. A recurring wash plan through the season prevents that far more cheaply than correcting it afterwards.
The same packages we run across the shoreline. Restoration and seasonal work is quoted after a look at the boat.
