We are not affiliated with Guilford Town Marina. We are an independent mobile detailer that services boats kept there.
Guilford Town Marina is the municipal facility on Whitfield Street, and it serves as home port for a good number of local fishing and pleasure boats. It sits close to the town center, with the launch area right behind the town hall.
It is the most straightforwardly local of Guilford's boating facilities: town run, town used, and busy through the season.
Town marinas tend to hold a wider spread of boats than a club does, from small fishing boats up to decent sized cruisers, and the pricing question matters more here. Per-foot means a 20-foot boat costs what a 20-foot boat should cost, and nobody subsidises anyone else.
Fishing boats need a different approach from pleasure boats. Blood, scale, and bait residue work into non-skid texture and need proper cleaning rather than a rinse, and a sealed non-skid surface releases that mess far more easily next time.
The same packages we run across the shoreline. Restoration and seasonal work is quoted after a look at the boat.
