We are not affiliated with Norwalk Cove Marina. We are an independent mobile detailer that services boats kept there.
Norwalk Cove Marina calls itself Connecticut's complete yachting centre and the claim is defensible. It runs 400 boat slips accommodating vessels up to 180 feet in a well-protected deep-water basin at the mouth of Norwalk Harbor, with three Marine Travelifts giving hauling capacity up to 150 tons.
It sits about an hour from New York City on Calf Pasture Beach Road, and its 200-foot fuel dock also serves Rex Marine, a related operation up the harbour.
The range of boat sizes here is among the widest we work with. A 25-foot centre console and a 150-foot yacht can sit on the same property, and they are entirely different jobs with entirely different economics. Per-foot pricing is what keeps that honest: you pay for the boat you actually have.
The Norwalk Islands are the other factor. With sixteen islands a short run offshore, boats kept here get used hard and often through the season rather than sitting for weekends. More hours on the water means more salt spray and more UV, and it is why a recurring wash plan tends to beat annual correction on both cost and results for a Norwalk boat.
The same packages we run across the shoreline. Restoration and seasonal work is quoted after a look at the boat.
