Safe Harbor Yacht Haven, known for years as Brewer Yacht Haven, occupies a large site on the West Branch of Stamford Harbor. It is among the closest dockage in Stamford to the harbor exit, which owners here consistently name as its main advantage.
The marina offers indoor storage as well as seasonal slips, and sits behind Stamford's hurricane barrier, giving it genuine storm protection that few harbours on this coast can match.

A marina this size is where coordinated booking pays off most. If you and your dock neighbours want work done in the same window, book together and we will run several boats in a day without moving the truck. That efficiency is worth real money on a forty-five minute run from Milford.
Behind the hurricane barrier the water is genuinely calm, and calm is not entirely a good thing for a finish. Less wind and rain reach the boat, so the film that settles out of a busy urban harbour's air just sits on the horizontal surfaces. It is gritty, and dry-wiping it is the single most common cause of the fine scratching we correct on Stamford boats.
