Milford Yacht Club runs a full-service marina with over 300 slips on Milford Harbor, with fuelling, pump-out, maintenance, and a busy social calendar of racing and fishing events. It is one of the larger clubs on this stretch of coast.
For us it is home water. We are based in Milford, so a call here is a matter of minutes rather than a drive, and we detail more boats in this harbour than in any other.
Being local genuinely changes what we can offer club members here. We can come by mid-season, look at a boat before a holiday weekend, or fit a wash around a race schedule in a way that simply is not practical for a customer an hour away. If you keep a boat at MYC, use that.
Milford Harbor is salt water with a good tidal flush and open exposure out toward Charles Island, so growth at the waterline is the recurring job and the finish takes a steady salt load through the season. Club boats also get looked at closely by other members, which is usually why owners here want the higher-tier work rather than a basic wash.
