Spencer's Marina sits at 44 Rose Street in Milford Harbor, a full-service marina and boatyard within easy reach of downtown Milford's restaurants, shops, and hotels. New docks installed in 2019 brought the slip count to around 70 through the peak season.
The site offers showers, provisions, grills, and a picnic area, and it is dog friendly. Access out to Long Island Sound is quick, and I-95 and two Metro-North stations are close by.
Newer floating docks make our job noticeably easier. The boat holds a constant height relative to the dock through the tide, so we can work the hull sides evenly rather than chasing a swing, and the result along the rubrail is cleaner.
This is our home harbour, which means scheduling here is flexible in a way it cannot be further along the coast. Mid-season touch-ups, a wash before a holiday weekend, or a look at something you are unsure about are all easy when we are ten minutes away.
