We are not affiliated with Mystic Seaport Marina. We are an independent mobile detailer that services boats kept there.
Mystic Seaport Marina provides dockage alongside the Mystic Seaport Museum, the largest maritime museum in the country, with its collection of historic ships and a working preservation shipyard that maintains them.
Boaters here can walk straight into the museum grounds, which makes it a genuinely unusual place to keep or visit a boat.
The standard of boat care visible up and down this stretch of river is as high as anywhere in the country, and people who keep boats here notice a finish. That is part of why owners tend to want the higher-tier services rather than a basic wash.
We are also clear about our limits. The museum's preservation shipyard does traditional work on wooden hulls that is a craft of its own, and if what your boat needs is traditional varnish or wooden-hull finishing, that belongs with a specialist rather than with us.
The same packages we run across the shoreline. Restoration and seasonal work is quoted after a look at the boat.
