Noank Village Boatyard sits on the Mystic River south of the Seaport Museum, running 90 slips that take boats up to 100 feet, with a fuel dock and year-round operation. It has become a destination of choice for visiting boaters on this stretch of coast.
The yard is certified under the Connecticut Clean Marina programme and has invested in solar and a rain garden. It sponsors the Mystic Seaport Antique and Classic Boat Rendezvous and takes part in Mystic River Day.

A Clean Marina certification matters to how we work. Wash water and residue have to be controlled rather than running off a dock into the river, and our process is built for that. It matters as much to us as it does to the yard.
The Mystic River is mixed water, fresh coming downstream and salt pushing up from Fishers Island Sound, which produces a waterline stain that is neither pure growth nor pure tannin. It usually needs proper compounding rather than washing once it has set, and a coated hull resists it dramatically better.
