We are not affiliated with Shennecossett Yacht Club. We are an independent mobile detailer that services boats kept there.
Shennecossett Yacht Club sits on the Groton waterfront near the mouth of the Thames, on a stretch of shoreline that also holds the Shennecossett golf course and the UConn Avery Point campus.
The club's position gives members quick access to both the Thames and the open water of Fishers Island Sound.

Boats here get the worst of two worlds for a finish: port fallout drifting down from the working Thames on one side, and open Sound salt spray on the other. Neither alone would be unusual; together they mean a boat needs more frequent attention than owners often expect.
Access runs through members. Arrange it your end and let us know what timing works for the club, and if several members want work in the same window a coordinated visit is far easier on everyone than separate trips from Milford.
