We are not affiliated with Palmer's Cove Marina. We are an independent mobile detailer that services boats kept there.
Palmer's Cove Marina sits in Noank, in the sheltered water just off the main channel of the Mystic River, among the village's cluster of yards and moorings.
Noank's position at the river mouth gives boats here immediate access to Fishers Island Sound and the eastern cruising grounds.
A cove berth is more sheltered than an open river slip, which means less wake and less movement against fenders, but also less flushing. Film and grime settle and stay rather than being rinsed off, so the horizontal surfaces need washing on a regular cadence.
Boats here still take the full Fishers Island Sound salt load whenever they go out, which they do frequently. A sealant or coating on a boat used this way is not a luxury, it is what keeps the annual maintenance bill from climbing.
The same packages we run across the shoreline. Restoration and seasonal work is quoted after a look at the boat.
